O'leary is a tool, and so is everyone making that weak ass argument. The real failing of the judicial system is how rarely it prosecutes others who commit the same crimes of which Trump was convicted. All those lying finance motherfuckers should be fined out of all their ill gotten riches. And then some. If that asshole is half as rich as he claims to be, $355m shouldn't hurt him anyway. He has had a full lifetime to swindle away as much as possible from folks, and his fanbase keeps donating millions more.

You mean like Bush and CHeyney for falsifying "intelligence" that ended up starting a war that killed a million people?

Or how about prosecuting Fauci and Collins for defying the US moratorium on GOF research, that ended up killing 20 million?

Chomsky said that if you applied the rules of Nuremberg to US presidents, you would have to hang every post-war president from 45 to 93... That's a long way from accounting practices where there are no injured parties. Or making up unprecendented rules to instruct a jury...

These are political prosecutions... that's more of a threat to democracy than anything that happened on Jan 6... Wake up!
 
Or maybe the chickens have finally started to come home to roost for the whole class! I agree with Chomsky on more than that BTW. Prosecute them all for their war crimes please. I hope that this is the precedent; merely the first president and probably not the last, because the heinous crimes enacted in our name, and paid for with our money needs to stop! Just because donny was the first to actually catch some heat doesn't mean he was the first to deserve it.

This is a political prosecution and proof IMO that Donnie is a threat to the evil system. I didn't vote for the guy in 2016. It wasn't until I saw the level of BS pumped out by every mass media about the Jan 6 HEARINGS (a year later) that I realized jst how much of a threat he is. That said, if he wasn't playing ball with the war machine, Assange wouldn't still be in prison, so he's not the savior that many believe. It's all political theatre. Trump had 4 years to drain the swamp, but instead it became a ceaspool.

Bobby is the only chance for restoring America to some semblence of decency. The present level of corruption cannot be sustained. It's going to sink our collective ship.
