Fu*%face Von Clownstick

And Jem I think politicians accept the fact that they'll catch hell every now and then. Comes with the job I guess.

When I was in high school, RHS '72, I had a subscription to Hot Rod magazine.

In the April '72 issue 'Big Daddy' Don Garlits wrote an article related to the war in Vietnam. A few issues befor he posed in his American flag themed fire suit next to his dragster flashing a peace sign

DG and Hot Rod received lots of letters because of this. Lost subscriptions. Got some support for their stance. What does politics have to do with drag racing?

Sometimes the reality of politics spills out of the political arena into places that make us squirm During this past political season there has been way too much spillage. This will continue

Freedom of Speech is one of our most valuable rights in my book. The government cannot be allowed to strong arm this type of dissent

And now there is this... 'economic terrorism' This is a slap in the face of the fundamentals of this country, and has the stench of fascism all over it.

Imagine the hell the Boston Tea party raised. All we are talking about here is blocking some roads, the whole concept of applying for a permit to hold a protest is an oxymoron.

What's likelihood of this passing through the WA State House?

Come on guys free speech? Businesss all over the US strongly emphasize to the point of banning politics being spoken in the work place. Then to stop what your doing to,in poor taste, call out one of your customers is extremely unprofessional. @Tom Dunlap imagine if I came up to you and your family and spoke in opposition of your tree website when you were out to dinner. Or imagine if an employee at a tree service started talking politics to someone with a Hilary sign when they were for trump. It sets a terrible example of when and when not. And that was clearly a case of when not. Especially with all the balance Mike pence has given to trumps unorthodox campaigning.

The exercise of Rights and Privileged can be carried to extremes...
Is it legitimate to act like a jackass?
How about movie actors launching into political or environmental diatribes when they get up onto the podium to accept an Oscar? Instead of just saying "Thanks"

So jem, is Pence the good one?
Should we then hold him more accountable because he has been in government longer and knows more of actual policy and Trump can continue to spew verbal diarrhea? Is suppose Pence is the actual Republican of the duo.

He also looks like an Imperial Admiral. Grand Moff Tarkin to Trump's Jar Jar.

I agree with points made about more appropriate time and place and mot behaving like a total jackass. But I also generally don't care to listen to most celebrities on virtually any subject. Except Harrison Han Solo Ford. He can talk. Let him live.

It's theater! The show itself is about politics and revolutionary actions! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Two very different ways to act as a public official: Knock the crap out of them vs. let him stay.

Well if that dude On the stage had any balls he would have given pence a Mic and a chance to defend himself instead of embarrassing him after he already got booed on the way in.

Yes, because the show was called - "Pencilton". A musical about how unfair and cruel the world is toward Trumpence.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. People have become so self important, on both sides, that we think we have to have our voices heard about damn near everything, even though we still have it better than 96% of the rest of the human population.

reasonable observations on the Hamilton issue

Paul does a great job of making slick vids and viewers feel like he's in the room fact shouting them down.

But, it's just another slick pitch of snake oil.

There is so much spin its dizzying.

This doesn't fit in a tweet, requires some thought, doesn't fit n a bumper sticker, and won't make your anger justified, but:

45 million on food stamps - yes, it went up from 32 million in 2008, after the greatest recession since the depression, and has actually decreased over the last 4 years from 48 million. George Bush had a net gain of nearly 15 million on food stamps and Obama will be around 13, with his numbers decreasing year over year for the past 4 years.

National Debt - There were 2 wars and Bush tax cuts that were never added to the debt until Obama. That's the major reason the debt has increased. It's like your wife holding a bunch of maxed out credit cards and not telling you or the accountant about it. But since the all the bills were put on the table, the deficit, which affects the debt, has declined at the fastest rate since world war 2.

More importantly, since it's his turn, how is Trump going to pay for his wall, increased defense spending, deportation force, massive infrastructure, and tax cuts.

Well, I know what has historically happened to him 6 times when he over promises and under delivers - bankruptcy.
