Felling Large Hollow Oak Split In Half

Jeez hsell, are you trying to make me jealous. I have been lusting after that saw for a long time. I have a couple 090's, but that thing was just plain sexy. Straight up saw porn! Talk to me bro, how do you like it?

Just noticed that beautiful Cannon bar. Pussy!!

Everything looks big to Dave

This is right after I ran Uncle Lee’s in the NY video: it was still a 41” GB.

The reason it wouldn’t start at the end of the video after I handed it back to Lee was because I treated it like a Husky & killed it with the Choke: I don’t recommend doing that with a 1201.

Pussy?

You know those Stihl bars get too floppy past 41”.

Cannon are heavier/stiffer than the White bars because of the extra belly.

I’ll try to dig out pictures tomorrow & share them here.

We ran it straight out of the box against a Ported 090 & a SP125: obviously the other 2 were loosened up & pulled ahead, but not as much as you’d think verses a 2016 year model saw.

The SP was the closest in displacement but the Echo sounded like a cross between those 2. Distinct.

No Clutch cover or Wrap available but a tig hand could correct problem #2.

I sold it to Kensey in Montana because I felt guilty every time I started it up knowing I was running what was a $2,100 saw at the time.

Robin has found a more economical way to get them over here lately so the price has come down a touch.

Uncle Lee has 3 or 4 of them to go along with his 28 Dolly 166s.

1 of those Dolly is a big bore: that’s another on the list.

I was just teasing you about that gorgeous Cannon. Again a little jealous. They are absolutely killer bars, and simply one of the very best bars in the business. I don't really run my 090's so spending big $ on a Cannon would be pointless. I keep the 090's around because they remind me of my younger days. I actually top a few trees with an 090 back in the day. Not fun.
My 3120 handles my bigger saw needs like a champ, so thats what I go to when I need a big saw.

Where can I find the big echo for sale?

If you’re serious, PM me & I’ll put you in touch with Robin.

They were $2,100 in June of 2016: I haven’t priced one lately but I talked to someone else who bought one, (I mean another 1 to go with his other ones), & the shipping method had changed netting a little, (~10%), decrease in cost.

Hey guys I just want to say how thankful Iam Rick (Rico) speak up his mind and put me in my place. Brother I can't thank you enough for the time you've taken giving me tips/inputs on my mistakes. I now can't wait to make a new video fast enough for you to jump in it and point out a few things I'm doing incorrectly. Keep doing what you're doing, at first I though you were just an asshole like iam, but thats not the case at all, you're a very nice asshole  and thanks again for everything you do on here and on my youtube page. Again we need to expose your youtube channel more, great work and quality videos, we just need more. I'm gonna give you a shoutout on my channel.

Way to go Kenny. You turned this thing around from a slugfest back to what it’s supposed to be; a place to share and learn. Well, as soon as these guys get done showing off their saws we’ll get back to the aforementioned learning and sharing

Wanted to second this, chiseledbutt. Assuming Mr. Sanchez is being sincere, this seriously is an outcome that I'm finding is rare amongst people. It is unbelievably difficult to really eat it when you are so far down the path of attack/protest/etc., as I'm sure anyone who is married is well aware.

Refreshing to see. Hope the discourse continues to be fruitful.
