ETCC Prague

Did those prelim results only include the Euro climbers, or did New Zealander Chrissy Spence fail to make the top three for the women?

Jesse,

those are prelim results only, Masters' is today.

Weta,

not sure, but I assume Chrissie was in the top three. As an international guest climber however she's not eligible to climb Masters'. But as I said, I'm not sure where she ended up, I haven't looked at the score sheets yet.

Now for an exciting Masters' Challenge and Head to Head footlock day!

SUI is short for Swiss Zwitserland suisse etc...

No further news Mark ?
Wasn't able to go to Praag hope to see you around the next time somewhere. It's been a while since we've met in maastricht.

I heard the final results for the masters......

Will let Mark B put the official word in just in case I'm wrong as I wasn't there, but Craig's word is good enough for me!!

Thanks, Rupe.

Sorry, took off straight after the event and only got back home at eight this morning... bit of a red eye special.

The results of yesterday's Masters' Challenge are:

Women:

1. Anja Erni, Switzerland
2. Jo Hedger, UK
3. Christine Sulzberger, Austria

Men:

1. Jon Turnbull, UK
2. Bernd Strasser, Germany
3. Gregor Hansch, Switzerland
4. Nathanael Gros, France
5. Johann Gustaverson, Sweden

Team ranking:

1. Sweden
2. Switzerland
3. Germany (I think)

The event was a blast. Fantastic location, fantastic atmosphere amongst all present! All Masters' climbs were a blast, each in their own way. Both trees were very challenging. The women's was set by Camille de Muyck and Paloma Ziegelmayer, both former ETCC champions, and the men's by Scott Forrest and James Kilpatrick, both top notch climbers. This run had bells spread in two trees...

One of the places being discussed for next year is Vienna, so if you couldn't make it to Prague this year, there's always that option.
