I couldn't agree more. I put a 10" Stihl b&c on mine (same as my 2511) and it's night and day different. Cuts like the 2511 if not better and battery is lasting alot longer, especially in larger wood.
It makes me wonder what in the world Echo is thinking. I mean they sell the both saws(2500/2511) already set up with 1/4p in other markets. The 2511 is almost unusable out of the box here, but is fantastic with just the 1/4p. 2500 runs the 3/8 a little better but absolutely shines with the smaller chain. Why dumb down a great product?
