Echo DCS-2500T

I was looking for a 2500t sprocket to go with my Stihl b/c.

I think Arbsession's website was listing Makita sprockets.

Still looking for the Echo sprocket.

If they did that I’d buy the whole shooting match Blower, polesaw, and 2500! My gas echo power pole saw is great but it doesn’t get a whole lot of use since I got the makita battery pole saw, but that unit has its drawbacks.
I found Echo does have the pole saw attachment for the 56v powerhead. This dude uses it at 7:20 in the below video. I don't see it for sale anywhere. If I buy it, I'll have to go down the 1/4" pitch rabbit hole once again.....

The Echo DPAS 2600 looks like the best powerhead option for the pole saw. It takes 16 different attachments, but it comes with the weed whacker attachment. Would be nice if it was available with just the pole saw attachment for that price.

I will explore the Stihl b/c today.

I have an Archer bar/ chain ordered, too. I expect to be underwhelmed, as I always run Stihl bars and chains.
I wasn't real happy with the archer chain, I'd buy them again but only to use in brush clearing where I was likely to hit a rock since one hit with a 1/4 is pretty much the end of the chain anyways.

Going to be a really short pp with a fixed length it would get a hard pass from me, even if I just had an echo saw I think for me at least the cost to go to the husqvarna battery pruner would be worth it.

They do have an extension for the pole saw for $59. I’m just weighing the options of having a fixed battery powered pole saw, or one of these multi tool power heads.

I put a stihl picco 3/8 on the one at my old work place and you might be able to figure out something better, but it required drilling one hole to fit the tensioner and then filing the oiler hole to elongate it oval shaped. This meant the bar could not be flipped. It worked great for months and then one day the chain just kinked for some reason. I don’t know what caused it.

Cool, I'm very curious how it compares to the 2511T in weight, construction quality and power.

I'd love to have a battery saw that is significantly lighter than my Husky T540i for small jobs where I only need to make a few cuts, or only small cuts.

I haven't used it, yet. Just got it, and the sprocket, swapping b/c

I use my (2) 2511t over my 193t and 200t (or 200t in conjunction on really tall wrecking jobs) all the time on removals. Hoping the dcs-2500t with the 1/4" chain will be similar.

I have a 2511 with a 1/4" chain as well, but grab the T540i over it every single time because to me at least, the battery saw has so many advantages over ANY gas saw, the single advantage of the 2511 is its light weight. Hence why I'd love a super light battery saw, but it's got to be quality and a good bit lighter than the T540i.....
