Im pretty green to SRT but from what I've gathered thus far you need to spike the line below your prusic.

yes, the prudent thing to do is whenever you stop to work you spike the line to keep your TIP prusik from slipping.

I was trying to hold back... But, the Unicender eliminates all of the extra gear.

But a ddbl rope sure is smooth thru a pulley coming back from a limwalk.

Thinking of introducing some SRT into my climbing system and really want to go with the rope wrench style etc, question:
Does anyone have some photos or ideas as to how they might rack the rope wrench etc onto their harness once up a tree and moving around of Ddrt etc?
Wanting to introduce SRT initially for ascents and maybe some movement around the tree but mainly still working off of Ddrt and wondering how to go about this.
