Looks like someone went to 7/11 and drank 9 different colored Slurpee's then threw up in the backseat. Give me a good old fashioned white rope thats low in bounce/stretch and I'm good...

You didn't like those blingy RopeRunners, either. You'll get better, soon, and those blingy ropes will be the love of your life.

I've climbed on many colors and they rarely matter, but bright is really nice sometimes safety-wise. My ddrt pitchy rope is bluestreak, guess I could find some white and blue 711 beverages to barf that too tho...

Agreed butttt, some of those drab looking ropes looks like an accident waiting to happen. Poison ivy included, yale focus is the exception. That rope is butt ugly, but get it up into a tree and for some reason the damn shit glows in the dark

My Yale 11.7 ropes in the orange Aztec pattern are like that, and so is Yale XTC 16 in the Fire pattern. On a cloudy day or toward evening the colors really pop with high UV and low visible light. They look very neon.

My color preference is for hi viz in stripes not patterns much easier for my aged eyes to see instead of the multi color checkerboard patterns that are popular. Tachyon fits my needs. But there are so many new ropes I can’t keep up with

I hated it at first but Focus is awesome in a tree. It's hand feel is spectacular. But it is Yale 11.7 which are the best ropes for climbing a tree know to man bar none. Swing says so.

One of my climbers is obsessed with that stuff, to the point of wanting an advance on his paycheck or a loan just to buy a hank!

I tried the Adrenaline a while back but found it had way too much bounce for me. Beautifully constructed rope otherwise.
