Decision Point Approaches

Hey guys. Thanks for checking in. I've just kinda been keeping to myself generally. Its been up and down. May was normal. April worked itself out. I went a couple weeks with no work but ended up with a couple days of storm work so that saved me. Last month had a a high paying industry lift and some more emergency work. I worked 2.5 days this week and have 4 days next week. I've started putting myself out there to do some training for companies. I have 2 days of AR training for 2 different companies this month. I spent a few days in Green Bay last month training Selner Tree with some Knuckleboom stuff. That was fun. I really enjoyed myself and it was great to meet Casey and his team in person after talking on here for so many years. I had a bunch of days doing eagles this year and that pays well. For some reason I'm getting the call to do a lot of chapter trainings. Odd happenstance out of nowhere really. This year was Arbfest, this coming EXPO, Mid-Atlantic, then 2025 is Pendel and Michigan. I think I might get the invite for Wisconsin but I'm not sure. I can't really figure out why the sudden interest but I'll take it. I put myself out there to start climbing again but haven't gotten any interest. Hope thats temporary. I'd like to climb more. Its seems like things have picked up to the point each month works out by the end of the month. We'll see. I still realize the time may come where I have to pack it in and sell. Somebody called me for a tree on a hour tomorrow but needed up letting me know I charge too much. Kinda pissed me off but I don't wanna work tomorrow anyway.
I appreciate you guys checking in. It's not been a good year for my spirit. Feeling pretty broken but making personal changes with diet. I started gardening, and fermenting. My garden is amazing and I have a 2 batches of Kombucha and pickles working rite now. Doing a food elimination diet that will last until October. Mostly I'm just holed up at my house when I'm not working. Have more solitude than I had ever anticipated. Figuring out it isn't the best thing. Anywho.......
Glad to hear that you are doing decently, Steve! The training sounds like a good gig, if you've got the patience for it. And very cool about the garden and fermenting. I drink kombucha daily, does wonders. I've also been loving this fermented cucumber salad, give it a try if you haven't already

Lovely to hear Steve. Seems like the rocky road has levelled up a bit.

Thanks Levi. I'll check it out. Training is pretty cool. Motivates me.

Oh no. Hopefully it isn't too deep. You managing ok?
Funny you should ask today. Yesterday there would have been a saga going back to December of '22. That's a story not worth telling here anymore, as it finally ended today after I finally got the right person on the phone, and was immediately paid nearly $10k that I had been waiting for. I also just got a letter in the mail from the IRS this afternoon apologizing for being slow AF, and letting me know that my refund should be coming along within 60 days from date of mailing, which somehow was nearly 6 weeks ago already. So a lot of the immediate financial stress has been relieved.

I was in a car accident 17 years ago, and only just finally went through the process to get it looked at by some specialists, and I have some degenerated discs. Told to stop working, based on me telling them what I usually do for money, plus the recent spasms, and referred to a PT. Will start in a few weeks, but I am only just barely recovering from another weird wrist injury that still has no formal diagnosis. Suspected pinched nerve. Started in late March, and getting a nerve conduction study in a week.

It all has me about a year behind on finishing my house, which will allow me to expand my business thereafter. All manageble, but sometimes it's hard to see through the fog of it all.

Glad it worked out, hope you were able to add reasonable fees.
Work hard and play hard.
Just what the almighty unelected black robe god like person said I could. He actually made me delete some of my late fees but his did allow me to proceed even though the guy didn't show and called with a broken down truck. The judge was gonna continue it but I plead my case for hearing it so he did.

Wow. Gad for the financial stuff and sorry for everything else. I see a PRI practitioner. They look at how everything works together and effects other stuff like sight linked to neck/back/pelvis ect. It's interesting

Strikes and gutters. Life goes on, one way or another. I haven't even seen that much and I've seen enough to know as much. I have been through plenty of nonsense, and I expect to see plenty more unless there are some radical changes in how the world works. PRI sounds super interesting. I'll look into it.
