I for one am glad it's over. Now it's time to see if he, like all who have been newly elected, will stand behind the statements they made to get elected. Many don't. Both candidates ran on "Change" and both tried to sell us that their "Change" would be better. America is ready and waiting, and as treebear pointed out, so are others in this world. It sounds like we are all hoping that this "change" will happen and be for the better.

I guess eight years of being called a "traitor", "Godless", "communist", Terrorist, etc. has hardened my feelings about fundamentalists. Not going to be easy to lighten-up on those who ran Palin after putting Bush in but I'm finding comfort in knowing if it wasn't for Bush, there probably wouldn't be an Obama here for us now.

So I'll try to forgive but I'll never forget.
