There's a guy around here who wrangles up trees that goes by "the sodfather". Not a bad name. But interesting.

We have the SodFather here too, but not a tree service. It's a turf company.
We also have a Chop N Drop Tree Service. That name has never instilled much confidence for me. All I can think is, "Chop and...Drop on my house!"

Smellie jewellery. That was the family name and they did get it. It can work from a branding perspective if u do see the humor/irony in the name.

Best Tree Service were at the Vermeer/Sherrill Seminar in Billings, Montana. I will say that at least they showed up to a seminar. Gotta start somewhere right?

Unless I'm looking for a junk yard car/truck part I never do business with AAA/ABC/A Tree...the alphabet soup marketing scheme. If they aren't creative enough to come up with a better name I'm suspicious.

We have "High Guys"
On their sign/logo: the uprights of the H are like spruce trees, there is a climber, it appears he has cut the top, as it is at a 45degree angle, directly over the climbers head. The owner does not climb. Last I knew these high guys do not have a climber, never did. I do think they are bong trained arborists! They have a 75' nifty man lift and low skills. When they first got the lift, They had it set up for a whole day over a few ornamentals/flowing crab apples, the owner had hacked them up as if he were a blind man swinging a chainsaw. Their sign was there....I think they thought they did a good job. Rather entertaining!
