Compact Bulldog Bone

It requires too much force. I have a bollard on the slic pin and that actually helps but I need to do the David (DSMc) mod to the top arm. I think.

Going to give it a try with the cougar in a few but expect it to slip.

I tried the BDB using the 3/4" bollard with Platinum 11.5 today. As with my basement testing it worked well with no surprises. I'm not a big fan of Platinum in general, but now I know how it does with the bone and my ~185 lbs including gear.

Here's what I tried today Gordon. I took those uniquely made and Vortex modified bones and said "I wonder how my new XTC 24 11.7 will work if I change nothing". Well as you, I, and probably most folks in here can image it did not go well, lol. I would go up a foot, I would slide back down a foot. It would of been more but I was only a foot off the ground as I knew this was a bad idea from the moment it entered my m7nd, lol.

Man, I need to stay up to date on this thread, I missed the home birth convo. Small derail, then done- 2 at home, last one unassisted in less than an hour. It was a ride!

Daaaaaaaamn, I thought Me and my wife were tough. I like you more and more. We should have a drink some time
My wife was tough, I just caught. Though, I did manage not to puke when I held the bucket for her while she did.

How far south do you go for beer?

All this bone talk, I wish I Srt'ed more.. I'd love to try one so I could be one of the cool kids. Ok, now to my real point. My wife was in labor for 3 days. It started strong, then slowed down, there were minor signs of distress so the mid wife was legally bound to take us to the hospital. The midwife new all the doctors and staff. We basically borrowed the room while the doc's just checked in every now and then. Started off as a home birth, and finished in the hospital. Midwives are the baddest bad asses out there, I wouldn't recommend anything else. Mid midwifery is one of the few things more intense than tree work I can thing of, but non of that prima donna bs involved.

Talk about get er done!

Sent my papers off to Gordon yesterday. Driving down to sf today to go crabbing for the next few days my mind kept creeping off to my new toy and trees I may climb and what if that one needed to be taken apart. I drive through some old growth and as much as I'm mesmerized I wonder how I would do it if it had to be done. One day I'll do more trees than boats
