Compact Bulldog Bone

Got the new refined one today. Sent the demo modded one and my last one back to Gordon for parts. He seems to have grooved out the spine and the inside of the arms for better tending. Don't know if the other arms are shorter or the pivot is different. I mailed them back yesterday. I'm not s big boner like oceans who can tell the difference by just looking at it. Get it. Hahahah. Seriously. I'll be here all week. Thanks. Thanks very much. Tadump(drums)

Thanks for the photos Steve...thought I was on a food forum for a minute.

Finally got my lathe fixed, broke the drive belt, got that fixed and made the bollards, spacers and chain link mods to have all the pieces for my DIY BDB. now I can put my original BDB back together as well.

Reed, I have some Aluminum Bronze rod stock that is 3/4"+ dia. left over from the RW sheave stock I had machined. It is difficult to turn but makes beautiful and durable material for sheaves or bollards. If you want it let me know as I do not have a lathe and you could put it to use better than myself.

Reed if you take the Alum-Bronze pm me if you never worked with it. As Gordon says it can be interesting to machine but there are some tricks and some hard fast rules that make it easier.

I'm gonna have one every ten pages. :)

Every ten pages, that's like 4 sammiches a day. Especially with all this sammich talk. So Swingdude's tender allows you to easily eat one of those sammiches in mid ascent, eh? I should probably get one.
