Hey, at least you had the stones to post that stuff before The Game. Leaves open the possibility of embarrassment if we lose. Respect.....(y)

Also, we ain't losin. We have dominated them so totally for so long that one forgets how truly bad they have been. Bucks have beaten them 11 of last 12 years, only loss being when Tressel was fired and Fickel was interim HC. Up until 2000 it was the opposite. Urban always has them ready.

I heard Gameday is doing 5 hours from The Shoe. Awesome.

I'm not lacking in the stones department.

The Fickel year SHALL NEVER BE SPOKEN OF AGAIN.
I'll accept my fate and derision regarding the pics on saturday. So will @Levi.CO

Fickel, Fickel, Fickel Fickel,Fickel!! This Saturday is the ONLY Saturday I want Michigan to win. Oh, and Michigan State came Damn close to making it what...9-2??? Yeah Baby. The Buckeye tree is about to fall!.

Remember in '95 when Terry Glenn said they weren't worried because "Michigan's nothing" before their 31-23 upset? Blew their national title hopes and then went on to lose to Tennessee in the Citrus Bowl? Yeah, that was a good year!

I'm not saying U of M is going to take it this year. It's going to be a tough game, no doubt. Personally I'm always hoping for a GOOD game that's fun to watch, and not just a total rout. But it's one of the things that has always really pissed me off about OSU football - their excessive hubris and unsportsmanlike antics both on and off the field.

Oldoakman, thanks for making my day as I was trying to work through this flu. I looked down at my phone and just saw "Fickel Fickel Fickel..."
Mafe me laugh.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the BIG playoff scenario is as follows: if OSU wins saturday, and PSU also wins, you win the East cuz of a head to head win. You then go on and have to beat a pretty good Wisconsin soundly for a shot at the CFP's. OSU can only get in if they win AND their high ranking is enough for the selection committee to put them in the top 4. If Meat Chicken wins saturday, then they win the East and will go on to play Wisky.

Just poking fun.
Hoping for another Ten Year War which means Meat Chicken HAS to win some of these matchups to bring back a true rivalry. Nothing personal I assure you.

Jeff, "we ain't losin" was just a little false bravado. We certainly could. UM is as good this year as I can remember them ever being. It would help if Speight was healthy, but they can still beat us.

Excessive hubris.... I don't know about that. We just expect to win. Every game. Seriously. We are definitely spoiled. Urban's record is 60-5. Maybe it is hubris, but when you win that much it gradually morphs into an expectation.

Unsportsmanlike antics- not sure we're any better or worse than any other program. I recall Mike Hart saying MSU were like their "little brothers", and a UM player shoulder checking one of our guys in the tunnel hours before kickoff. (I can also think of a few dirty plays by OSU, namely Bobby Carpenter's choking of Jim Sorgi:eek:)

Anyway, best of luck to UM. OSU is super talented but VERY young, which tends to bite teams in big games. Oddsmakers I think are giving OSU a very slight advantage. Honestly, I don't think it matters as either team will likely get curbstomped by Bama.

Yep, it certainly works both ways. And BELIEVE ME, we remember the Cooper era of losing big games all to well

Also, as I think about it, my dad and grandfather would definitely agree with you Jeff. Both MSU grads. Grandpa died in 02, but man he hated Ohio State fans. Also ND. Said they were the two worst fan bases in America.

Also looking forward to seeing the other bowl matchups for those who dont get in. BIG should be well represented and I'll watch every one rooting for them

Stranger things have happened. No matter how it turns out, it will be an awesome end to the season. PSU came in unranked and now look. Four big 10 teams in the top 10and only 1SEC team. One of these days bama is going to fall apart. Get ready to cry in your beer swing!

Thankfully. He has put a lot of heart into the program and I'm glad it has paid off for him. Thanks for the compliment.
