I wasn't referring specifically to this year - more like a general statement about the past 30. I moved to Columbus in '86 and got to watch a lot of it from the front row.

I agree. There were a bunch of times I was truly embarrassed to admit I lived in C-bus. Some of the behavior was just truly unbelievable. Even my old man. Never had any connection to OSU other than being born in the state and living in Columbus, but he was rabid! When my wife got into grad school at U of M (because it was a really good program and she got a full ride) he actually yelled at her at the dinner table saying she "...only did that to spite him!"

And don't even get me started on the F*#%ing Irish. Did I ever mention that I did my undergrad at Virginia Tech, who last weekend just happened to come from behind and knock off ND?!? Hell yeah!!! The only thing better than one of my schools beating the Irish is when one of my other schools beats the Irish! Now if only UM-ND would resume their rivalry...

Note to Jeff: The Dead Schembechlers changed their name to The Bastard Sons of Woody and all proceeds from that year's Hate Michigan Rally were donated to the family's charities upon hearing of Bo's passing on the eve of that game.

Seriously? Did not know that. That's pretty classy. I wish more people involved in these long standing rivalries could show that level of respect.
