Aw man....

I'm one year younger than Terry was, and I was a student when he was there. One of our guys.

Funny story: two of my roommates at OSU (one of whom was my best man) were good high school football players at small schools. One had interest from Columbia, the other was an all-state running back on a state champion team. They decided to try out for Ohio State as walk-on's.

First day went well they said. Honestly don't recall what that day consisted of.

Day 2: electronically timed 40 yard dash. Pat runs, loses. JB steps up to the line. Some no-name called Terry lines up next to him.

I think you know how that went. It was a perspective providing experience. Hard to believe TG went from walk-on to this:


How do you miss that kind of talent?

Anyhoo, makin' me feel old. RIP.

I wish there were some die hard UM fans here. Would be fun. (Add 2015 and 2016 to this banner)

Seriously though, this game is NEVER predictable. Either team could win any year. Emotion plays such a huge part in that. Hope it's a good one.

Crazy saturday...conference championships look cool as usual.

Kinda hoping Bucks win but don't get into the top 4. Seems more appropriate to go to the Rose Bowl rather than the big dance after last year's debacle and this year's crap loss to Iowa.

Georgia win kinda shakes things up a bit doesn't it? OK played really well as I expected

I really think Bama will get in. Even if we smack Wisconsin like last time, I don't think it will outweigh that Iowa City debacle or our 31-0 showing last year. (Committee isn't supposed to consider last year, but they're only human.)

And beating Wisky won't be easy. Ultimately, I think they're similar to Penn St, but I'm not sold on Hornibrook. He's solid, but not remarkable. But so was Craig Krenzel.
Who knows?

Barrett is a little off. Missing easy completions. Lucky Hornibrook is too.

Wisky is nation's #1 defense because they have played no one. Bet Urban keeps his foot on the gas in 2nd half.

But after Iowa I am far from certain.....

Keep hammering them. D isn't a stout as I expected and ours is playing well.

Does it bother anyone else that these kids don't actually throw the football for these Dr Pepper scholarship contests?
