College football fans

He's a chip off the ol block for sure.

Unfortunately, a meteor strike did not occur during todays UF and TTUN game.

(Slow sad sigh)

JD: not sure how I missed your previous post but I took my son to South Bend last year. It was fantastic except for the cold. Narrow loss to Virginia Tech.

As for tonight:

Penn St is legit. Obviously McSorley and Barkley are fantastic, but they have other weapons too.

As a Buckeye fan I can admit that the better team won last year, but with benefit of hindsight (and the Clemson loss) I hope we can all admit that Ohio State was not a top-tier team. Overrated for sure.

Maybe we are this year too. Maybe not. We shall see. But I'll guarantee one thing: if the Bucks win, the students will not rush the field. Cuz in C-bus wins against PSU are expected, not hoped for.

(Sorry Old Oak!)

On second thought, if they're drunk enough they'll rush the field anyway!

It would almost be worth an early trip to buckeyeville ahead of tcia. I would rush the field for sure. I predict a tough game and a lone win. Oh, and #1 the lion's cornerback is from phenix city AL. He is becoming a hometown hero.

If you've never been to the Shoe or campus it's wirth a visit. Finding reasonably priced tickets may be a challenge however.

IMG_2027.webp It's halftime. I'm not worried yet, and it should be a fun second half.

Fun fact: as of this morning our TRUE FRESHMAN running back (Dobbins) had more yards on fewer carries than Barkley, while sharing time with a fantastic running back named Mike Weber.

Interesting how ESPN drives the Heisman narrative.

I also feel obligated to mention the fact that Wisconsin is undefeated in the Big 10, but they won't have to play Ohio State, Michigan State, or Penn State this season.

Which means they are basically undefeated in high school level play.

If they win the BIG, it is an absolute joke and should never be scheduled again.

Wow. I think they rushed the field as a result of the exciting buildup. Had it been a blowout, probably not.

I think the better team lost. Ohio State seems like a collection of great individual talents, while Penn State seems like the better TEAM. Still remarkable how fast PSU has turned it around since the sanctions.

No question. That was certainly a late hit, but NO WAY targeting.

Seems like you can't play football anymore. I miss football. And muddy uniforms. Never see grass stains anymore either. Sigh.
