You did not learn it well. You're trying to sway believers into your secular, humanistic way of thinking. Remember, just because you can't see it, doesn't make it unreal. For example: microwaves, deafening noises, emotions, viruses and GOD. They can bring about consequences that become real to you very quickly.

I have no intent of controlling anyone with my thoughts, words, and deeds.
Your dogma has allowed you to think otherwise.
I love through preaching of an alternatively righteous path.

Secular is so far from my picture, for we are all children of god.

I do not have to be religious to be one with (us) god.
I like to be labeled "spiritual".

We are all spirits of god in human bodies.

Main stream religions create spiritual segregation.

No matter what religion you pay by praying into, we are all gods children. That I mostly believe.

Dogma: is a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true. It serves as part of the primary basis of an ideology or belief system, and it cannot be changed or discarded without affecting the very system's paradigm, or the ideology itself.

True unfettered belief will prevent one from seeing or even entertaining the possibility mentally of an alternative to the belief. How about when some one first said the world was not flat. Or the world was not the center of the universe.

Now I'm not saying don't believe in anything, just be prepared/able to see even argue for the other side. Why in hell do they call that playing the devils advocate? There was no devil before religions. Just serpents.

One of my best friends went to grad school for comparative religion. He studies most every major religion and other systems of thought like atheism, existentialism and the occult. I read most all his papers and had many great discussions on belief systems.

We are not born with the answers, we live and learn to find the answers, if one is looking for them. Probably not going to find them either from a single source financially vested in you eating off their menu. The soul is hungry, feed it a well balanced diet and it will grow.

How do you belong in this thread?

Let's say for instance we have a thread titled, "Those who Love the Rope Runner". And then "sassy frash" decides to pipe in and whine about all the reasons not to use the Runner. Well, anyone that has some stones is going to step up and hit you with some backlash. As well they should, when you cross that line of manners and respect.

It's your right to speak your piece, just not here. Start your own thread. Maybe, "How to Follow my Path to Unrighteousness", or, "Its All About the Here and Now!"

Honestly, I can't understand why more haven't called you out on your lack of class here.

I am lawn chair spectator at this point and am seeing how this plays out because you are both raising some very interesting subjects on both sides of a view point I have opinions about
that is of course separate to the should this be in a separate thread argument , I am more than happy to follow this on in another thread myself.

I like that . I'm not a fan of being labeled anything , but I feel strongly enough about what Jesus did for all people I'm actually happy to be labeled a Christian if someone decided to call me one. There is a uniqueness in Christ that separates it from all other religions and I encourage everyone whom has struggles of there soul to look into the gospel for answers and they can be revealed.

So, I got rained out in the middle of a job yesterday, frashdog. Got the bucket stuck in the mud, and now I'm picking up the pieces on a Saturday. Hopefully we can continue this later on your new thread, my passive aggressive friend.

I am sorry. You are right. Was not my parade to rain in on. Truth is I have resisted for so long, and last night I got really drunk. I know that's not an excuse, but that's the truth. When I woke, I actually forgot what I wrote. Kinda like I was possessed. So this morning I kinda just went with it. I apologize for my uninvited opinions.
 
Treelogic I follow you on here for good reason!. Frashdog your cool too. I knew you were drunk just by reading your posts . I laughed good at some of it.You can just tell ya know. I get like that now and again. If i come on here like that im sure its noticable. Hahaha..Lord knows I'm a sinning man. Just like the rest of ya's ..everyone deserves some and needs to give some forgiveness in this world. I try to let God do the judging of the character ..its important to me right now. I'm in w.w.J.d. mode for myself best I can be. It's hard to walk the walk like Jesus. Tow the mark and walk the line all the time. Amazing grace.
 
I love when I leave this thread for a day or two and there's another page. I love catching up with everything. And fyi, anyone is welcome here. The God I worship, when he walked the earth, chatted and had dinner with the scum of it. Not saying people are scum, but he didn't care who he hung out with and shared the Gospel with.

Tell me some about it and I'll know more to tell you.. If its a religious belief I doubt I'm interested .. I'm enjoying all that Jesus gives to me. I've accepted him asy savior and his words are my guide. I'm interested in what rasta entails for knowledge sake . Imagine it has something to do with da gangjai Mon. .. Only from what I've herd of dudes in the past with big corn husk blunts going off like bum bo clot wassup brother man type ish.. Jah world. Anybody I ever met who claimed rasta was smelly with dread locks .. Seemed OK.. who I met anyways. Didn't get into specifics of rasta though
