Cleveland Fun Climb

Hey everyone, hope all's well

Got the official confirmation, we're back on for climbing big trees in the Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation!

Like last year, last Sunday of the month of September, early fall colors and good food. This year we're going to pass the hat to raise a little cash for the TREE FUND.

September 26, starting around 10am for a briefing, we've got the run of the place until evening. Bring a 200 footer!
Nice limby sycamore near the BBQ for show-and-tell...

Big trees, big gorge, nice hiking, volleyball net/humongous sandbox for the kiddies. More details in the making.

I got an "in-law" wedding that weekend in dayton, drats, thats two years in a row Ive had to miss this climb!!!

Too bad about the Indiana comp conflict. Only one winner in Indiana, for the Cleveland climb it is strictly T-ball rules, we'll all be winners here.

Dayton is a bit of a drive from here, we could get you back in time for the tail-end of the reception. Does the other family know you well enough to fall for a stand-in "Shawn"?

OK, now we've got a situation. I propose we postpone the Indiana championship so that everyone can come to Cleveland, where the trees will be taller and nobody will have to be as sneaky with the beers when the day is through.

Lesson for next year, fun climb early October 2011 for the sake of tree climbing over-achievers on the Treebuzz...
