OK folks,

We are having our meetings, and getting everything ready. I have ordered plaques for BOTH the Journeymen and Journeywomen. And the plaques for the Apprentice (men and women).

Additionally, the belt buckles are in. (Photos to follow)

And we are getting all our sponsors lined up and ready to go. We are going to have some great prizes and better cash. That is just the way we roll.

All we need now is for the Buzz Family to let us know who is coming and to register at caa-nc.org...

Side note: the canker worms have started to fall from the trees. It is spring in Carolina.

Do volunteers need to sign up on the website? If not, and someone is taking notes, I want an XL or L shirt. The L is for when I go grocery shopping at the kroger by U of L campus and want the coeds to see what I'm packing.

Do you allow Rhode Islanders? I only ask because we aren't welcome everywhere!! Seriously though, I'm thinking about making the trek down there, it sounds like a lot of fun. Just tell me how awesome it's gonna be and I'll go.

Rhode Islanders are welcome here. A great state. Got a lot of big Fagus grandifolia on the coast, from what I saw. As far as how awesome it will be, it will be friggin' awesome. This comp is setting a new level of excellence this year. Sign up and bring friends (who should also sign up as well). Be a part of tree climbing history. Boom.

It's settled then, I'm going. I cleared it with the boss and the wife, now I just have to register. I'm psyched!!!!
