My cross comparisons to sift root analysis mindset extends far beyond this thing that we do.
.
i could never draw, but brother could pick up chalk, pen, charcoal etc. and have right at it.
But seeking to show more of pix in head, struggled with drawing squiggly lines in msPaint etc. long ago; long road i'm still L-earning on.
.
As i look for constant comparisons etc. and dove deeper into drawing these things, it has re-affirmed and caused deeper reflection on so much of these things that we do.
The shadow gradients seen are all calc'd on sine/cosine or don't look real. In fact this discovery was big change in computer gaming, they even say the effect looks 'more organic'! For your animal eye is always trying to protect and constantly comparing, and it knows when shadows aren't right etc., looks fake. i was teaching self to draw on computer in vectors when this was discovered, you'd write your own script to define the changes, but now is so common the gradient shadow functionality is built in, numbers not seen, just gift to ya. But once again, as in many things, takes you further from root works and understandings by the softness of this buffering between you from these things with the gift..
.
Another re-affirming comparison, is how the registration point of a postage stamp sized pic on a larger canvas, mimics my definitions of CoG...
Just a different perspective of the same function;
A different facet, to see to center of same jewel by,
And thus define more, and more confidently!
