Can't get the tether dialed in.

I've got the new stiffy tether from ABR on the rope wrench and above my zigzag. I've had to remove the 2 pieces of rubber on the tether legs and it is still so tight across the zigzag that it's actually making ascent a little more work. Hopefully it'll stretch out a bit. The oceans tether is a little floppy but it ran so much better.

I cut the rubber off mine as well. It will get better after your first work climb.
