Canopy Camping - Minnesota

I'm looking for fellow tree climbers to join me on overnight trips into the canopy. I enjoy adventuring through the forest in search for a tree that is begging to be climbed, then summit it, and finish by setting up camp and eating like a king while watching the sunset from a perspective that few will ever experience.

I have never worked in the tree business and most of my experience comes from my rock climbing background. Let me know if you are interested. I have plenty of sleeping bags, backpacks, and pads to lend out so don't let that stop you!

I don't know if I could handle camping in the cold like that. I have had pneumonia 3 times after I went hunting from a deer stand in a blizzard.

That is a sweet set up. I bet the Beach Rolly could be used like that - wheel your gear in and then hoist the Rolly...?

Treezy Breeze, a fluffy winter sleeping bag will cure your pneumonia. And actually my tarp sock was so perfect that the inner air was not cold to breathe (with the closed cell foam taco'ed around me, my warm bag on top, and the tarp pulled all the way up). Cozy, but freaking hard to get into! I actually rarely go camping in the summer anymore because I would much rather battle the cold than mosquitoes.

The first picture is not a tree boat, I was pondering getting one but they also need two points of anchoring and since portaledges are like 1 bajillion dollars I made my own. I will be getting a real bomber cot soon as the one in the picture was a free one I found on craigslist
