Buckingham Buck Blocks (Climbing)

I have a like new Buckingham Buck Blocks Climbing system for sale on consignment at American Arborist Supplies. Asking $200. Give them a call or let me know if you are interested.

I tried them a few times and I'm not into them. They've been hanging on my wall for 8 months. I don't like setting and retrieving them. Too much dealing with throwlines for me. Nice to climb on though. They have a little more friction than a Rope Guide so your friction hitch doesn't heat up as much, but it's still easy to ascend on.

I'm about 60/40 between a Rope Guide Primus and a ring and ring friction saver depending on my mood and the tree. Trying to use the rope guide more lately to save energy and wear and tear on the body. I retrieve them several ways, it depends on conditions. Soft ground and not too high I pull it, usually try to route it over a few branches on the way down so it doesn't slam. If I'm tied in near my access line I'll hook it to that. When I have to I'll lower it out with a throwline, double snapper for the rope guide.
