Brand new STIHL MS 200T

Sorry. EBay will end up selling it for me here. It's at $1000 and I received requests to ship international so others can bid as well.

Paul, don't apologize. It's great that you share so freely. Keep it up! Someday I'm coming to Barbados as well. A STIHL dealer was asking me to come and do a workshop for them. I'll have to get them going on that so we can meet up :)

Muffler....drill a 5/16th hole at least....recommended size...I drilled a 1/2"....after you remove the nasty screen....then remove carb and use a drywall screw...to remove limiter...in the H...that will expose a 5/64th hex nut in plastic sleeve that is now your H adj screw...open that out...till saw 4 strokes then turn back in quarter turn...do this with a warmed up saw and in wood under load...small quarter turn increments....find saws sweet spot...IN WOOD...you will also have to do the L to get a crisp throttle and start every time ( smaller increments CCW )...shout me if you need more info...sorry Mark but info was needed here....
With the 5/16th hole drilled...and advanced timing done....(H) should be around 2 5/8th and (L)) 1 1/8th...mine were more but I had bigger hole and advanced my timing more...my saw ripped sold 2 200t's that were not that old because I never used them...loved that saw till I sold it...still running but dude says it's too loud...but twit does not wear ear protection...go figure...I want the damn thing back...but sure he won't sell it back when I get home...

Thanks so much for going to all of this trouble for the benefit of everyone else on this forum. I agree that a man with your level of knowledge should not ever feel the need to apologize for trying to be a great teacher. I regret not thanking you sooner. I hope the transition to your new home goes really well, and that it brings you much happiness.

I look forward to anything else you choose to add with regard to these saw modifications whenever the dust settles from the move, and after you've had a bit of time to decompress. Moving can be really stressful, so please, take your time and get settled in, and know that we'd all love to hear from you when you are ready.

Tim

I'm ok with mechanics and keeping things running but maybe not all this. Time is a big factor now. Know anyone I can send to and have this done. Definitely interested in the 201 and maybe a couple others that could use a little upgrade. Thanks for all the info...chad

Locate a man named Brad Snelling...Donny Coffey on here has his info...I can get you it in a pinch but I am real busy right now setting back up my biz in Barbados....

So which would give you more of a warm fuzzy feeling, some moldy money from a saw that has been laying around your shop since God knows when, or knowing you have made an old man very happy?
