BC 935 starter kit??

Need to buy a new starter for my vermeer BC 935 perkins. Does anyone know if there is a particular model number for this chipper? or is it a universal starter?

I highly doubt it’s s universal starter, as I have never heard of such a thing. You should find the model and serial numbers from the engine, not the chipper, and call a Perkins dealer, or local parts supply with those numbers. They should be able to tell you what you need for your engine.
