Basswood poles?

Does anybody know where to find basswood poles for polesaws?

I've checked a few places to no avail. I like the basswood because it doesn't splinter like hemlock. Any suggestions?

You should contact Marvin Pruners. They have plain poles at the booth at EXPO so I would expect that they would sell them seperately

As skew said, Karl Kuemerling has basswood poles. If you buy 12 footers you have to have them shipped on a tractor trailer, which is expensive.

Or, you could talk to Ken (KK's roving sales rep) and see when he will be in your area with his van--he will deliver 12 footers to your door, but you have to wait on his schedule. I ordered some in November and just got them about two weeks ago. I am in Atlanta though, which is pretty far from their home port in Ohio. I think that they get around the upper mid-west pretty regularly.

Or, you could order 6 footers, which can be sent regular UPS or FedEx.
