I couldn't find a thread on these boots, just briefly mentioned here and there.
Anyways I just ordered a pair from Sherrill (they reeled me in with their 20% off coupon today). I have been climbing in La Sportiva mid x approach shoes for 3 years now but they were recently discontinued. I love these approach shoes for tree work. I mostly climb for the company I work for but also do a fair amount of ground work. They are great for pruning and do okay with spurs but also very good ground boots.
So does anyone have thoughts on the new Evo's? How do they fit/break in at first? Do they feel heavier compared to other boots? Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Let me know. I'll add my opinion on the boots when I get them next week.
