as the Boots go, the red wears out, or at least the brightness, or you get used to wearing bright red shoes, not sure. but I am a more reserved guy and I have to admit the color out of the box was pretty bright. mine dulled down but I think mostly I just got used to wearing red and yellow boots. I wear mine all the time, and they still look good. below is the haas that matches.
