Arborwear

if we're all throwing out ideas for what we want on our perfect arborwear pant, here is my two cents. over the pockets, some flaps would be nice to keep out debris. every time i wash i have to take out saw chips, moss, etc. one other product that would be very cool is some socks, its hard to find good socks. and sweat bands. maybe even athletic shorts. and a burka, for my lady friend.

I would also be a bigger fan if the cuffs were not so tight. A fit closer to Carrhart around the boots and I would start buying again.

But not sooo loose! I dont know about you, but I find myself walking on them alot. A happy medium would be great!!!!!

They do have the monopoly on the product because no one comes close to what arborwear makes. I dont see any competition. Your right though I would hate to see someone copycat arborwear.

What a kiss arse. They have a monopoly on nothing, there is alot of companies out there that make gusset knee and crotch pants. All one needs to do is spend alittle time surfing or shopping. Any rock climbing store will carry a pant with both gussets and at a fraction of the price. Want pants for winter try mountaineering pants or soft shell ski pants both come with gusset knees and crotch.

I wear a 32x32. My first pair I ever bought was at tcia in baltamore some 4 years ago. They fit very well. I then bought another pair the next day, took em home and they were a little snug. Over the years I placed mail orders for the same size pants and some would fit, some wouldn't. I'd return the pants for another pair and they wouldn't fit either. Finally, I changed the pants all together for pants I can try on first before buying and I haven't looked back since.

Seems the trend for made in China.

PPPHHHHTTTTTT. Just get sick of hearing the talk up of crap products. If Beds wore Walmart sweats to win one of the ITCC you'd have 100 marons wearing them everday. Buy what one likes and be happy about your buy, just don't try to force feed me the BS that they are the only runners in the game.

Noone tries to forcefeed YOU anything! Noone really cares for you, your crap attitude, and the GOD like ego you carry around! That and the fact that you bash EVERY part of our industry including Bill's co. One of the greatest guys you'll ever meet, and quality proucts. You dont like the price dont buy them, but dont slander his co.

Are you really THAT good!? ill bet your drunk again and taking out the frsutrations here arent you?

Well lets see the new company I started with in PA has 8 climbers, with in 3 months I am now the lead climber and top in production. Can I keep it up, doubt it, but it sure is fun to see the look in others faces. Always fun when a no name lays the smack down.

Anyways back to the thread would like to see a 4 way stretch pant somthing on line with this maybe

Extra knee and rear hold up very well I have one pair that is 3 years old makes them worth the price you pay.

whatever, pants at mountaineering stores are way way expensive, and they get torn up in a hot second. You havent given any specifics on pants that can compete with arborwears. Whats the price on those pants you showed in your picture? they look to me like I could thrash them in a minute or two.

no offense man but if ed hasn't thrashed them in 3 years I have a feeling that they'd last you more then a couple mins. They have a higher price tag but if they last 3 times longer and are more comfortable during those those years then they are worth it. I've got a couple of "high end" climbing pants and I've beaten the tar out of em and they keep ticking, and with a 5 year warrenty they better, otherwise I'll replace em with new ones free of charge

I personally have found something more comfortable then previous arborwear clothes. When they come out with new stuff, I'll give it a shot. Personal preference i guess

Yeah family" because sometimes men like to wear stretchy pants". Seriously though I have several pairs of tech pants that are collecting dust,Im probably gonna give them to my employees. After wearing stretch airs and the schoeller pants from rei the tech pants just stay in the closet.I would try arborwear again if they make a stretch tech pant. But until then I have to climb in something less restrictive.
