Future climb-ins will be held at this fantastic site. Gary, the Ranger said we could come back again. For future reference, here's the site map. The Valley Oak is in the yurok area, on the riverbank.

Hello Ox

Great Pictures!!! Wow, I've been off line for a few days, but I was happy to come back to this!!! Thanks! You are a great photographer.

I'm still having issues, but I'll get pics up soon.

How are things in Seattle?

Busy in Seattle, looking forward to the next rec climb. Editing photos.

Ray recently sent me a link to his Picasa posting of Arbor Camp pics. I'll ask him if he doesn't mind if I post it here, so you can see those pics too.

Glad things are busy for ya, even with the wacky weather. Heard you had a late snow.

More Rec climbing would be fun. Last weekend, Bert and I helped out a friend in her Arborist Class Lab teach folks how to climb. It was at the LA Arboretum in a fantastic oak that was used in the 2006 WCTCC. It was great fun!

Do you ever have any opportunities to volunteer for things like that up there?

The attachment shows a long view of the the group at Camp Pollock with the mystic valley oak. It was fun to climb this tree for 3 days in a row.

Here's a report from another forum of a recreational tree climb in February of the Bogachiel Spruce.

Okay, so I'm finally posting my pictures one at a time, since I've tried posting an Album in Picasa, but it won't upload.

Here's a great pic of Becca learning how to climb and prune a young unidentified Oak species we think.

We're trying to talk her in to signing up for the TCC, so we may have another competitor!!!
