STIHL is looking to do more "Pro Tips" videos and 360 videos and I'm wondering what you guys would like to see? Any topics I should try to cover? The pro tips are on YouTube and you can see them under "Pro Tips" on our home page here. Thanks!

Spurs: proper body positioning when on spurs, pad placement below knee, maintenance etc.
Ropes: Care and Retirement. Washing pitch out of lines without doing damage. How to deal with nicks and picks. When to retire a rope.
Mechanical advantage: Understanding the differences. Pulley configurations vs come-along. Z-Rig etc.
SRT vs DdRT: Stationary vs Moving Rope. Forces applied with canopy vs basal anchor.

That's kind of a shotgun blast of suggestions, and thanks for doing the pro tips...they are very enjoyable! You do a great job.

I would like to see STIHL give back in repair/maintenance videos like how brush bandit does on youtube. We recently dropped STIHL a note regarding 20+ power pruner saw heads not oiling. Our local dealer wanted to charge us 70% the cost of a new pruner head to rebuild so we opted to replace them with new instead. Over the years we have acquired so many that they just kept piling up.We recently reached out to STIHL and they are sending a tech from corporate to our shop to train our guys. Which we are really excited to have STIHL visit us!

Setting up a rigging system for dismantling a tree
- Choosing gins/anchor points (blocks, rigging rings etc.)
- Tree removal sequencing or "routing" (where do you start?)

Advanced rigging techniques
- Spider leg balancing
- "Basket/Cradle Rigging"
- Drift line/Transfer rigging
- Double Whip/Tackle
- Rigging with a crane: proper cutting technique
- Rigging with a crane: picking sections of spar/trunk and techniques
- Rigging with a crane: Crane removal system(s) options (One climber, sets picks and cuts picks (and how that works? Crane brings climber around to set picks, or does the climber have to....well....climb? hahaha). OR Two climbers, one sets picks, one cuts picks.
- Negative rigging/blocking with an emphasis on climber work positioning

Double Advanced Techniques:
- How to survive while driving in New Jersey (HA!)

And Wow, I hadn't seen the 360 ones yet! Cool. Don't you love technology!

Could you do a big crane job with the 360 camera?

Hi Mark,
If you could do a video on canopy anchors and redirects for srt work that would be incredible.

How to stack brush properly.

After area storms everyone piles there brush by the road and we have to drive the streets chipping for days.

How to properly stack brush is huge and so many people suck at it
