Any advice on how to get into a Redwood or Sequoia climb?

I am planning a trip out to California and would like to climb a big tree. Any members in the area that can help me put this together or climbers who have done it already?

I'm here for the answers. Next summer I plan to tree climb the west coast too. Climbing just one big tree will make the trip worth it!

I also thought that you should get in touch with anyone in the San Fran area that is a member of the Bay Area Tree Climbers Club. They host climbs that may be of interest to you.
