another ISA boner

For years, I have used the online mulching brochure on the ISA's site to teach clients what they should be doing. It foolishly placed the "Wrong" image prominently in the middle while shoving the "Right" image to the bottom corner, but I could work with that.

But I just went to send it again and noticed they've ruined it. It's mostly text now, and the images there are not very useful. I do like the one that shows what a root system looks like underground, but there is no "Don't volcano mulch" pic and no "It should look like this" pic.

I already sent the ISA a message requesting they change it again, but if anyone here has pull (or just wants to add their voice to the call for change), please do what you can to get it fixed.

If you aren't familiar, I refer to http://www.treesaregood.com/treecare/resources/ProperMulching.pdf

Keith that rewrite does have issues--the biggest graphic is bags of mulch--not too informative. Plus the last 2 sentences contradict each other. I think the membership dept did the last rewrites, not the ed. dept.

I have negative pull, having said too much about too much; sorry!

Guy, negative pull might be an understatement. You're like the black hole of arboriculture and you bend all tree knowledge that comes near you and pull it into your center!
