Air Powered Throwball Launcher

I have been using Nick's APTA for about two years now and would recommend it above the Bigshot in all normal tree working situations. It is far more consistent, especially in seasonal temperature changes. It takes about 10 seconds to charge with a good bike pump and that will get you into most trees. It never has a bad day so one shot is the norm even in tight, brushy canopies. The end of the launch tube can be poked up through lower ground obstacles to make shots that would not be possible with the bs.
My go to bag is a 12 oz Weaver and it will launch higher than the psi charge. Great tool, thanks, Nick!

No, in fact just the opposite. It is amazing how long a bag will last now. I suspect that it is from less flight time, number of tries per line setting.

Yes seriously considering one as had a blowout last week setting about 15 lines on one job and had a bad day throwing, cost me more than an hour...

I would be hard pressed to think of a tool that has had a more profoundly positive effect on my daily climbing life than the APTA. Being able to easily set lines at well over a 100ft has been a true game changer for me!

Don't buy one, screwing around forever is more fun. I hate when I have to go to work right away and climb to a 80-100 TIP.;)

Last time I used my APTA, it was only 75', exactly the height I needed, first try.

Then, i Had to use my Wraptor. What a pain. ;)

If you ever feel like your getting a little out of shape from using the APTA and a gas powered engine to get to the top of your trees you can send that Wraptor down here for awhile. I promise I will take good care of it?
