Instead of watching TV tonight I was browsing through my bookmarks. In the woodworking file I found a dead link. With a little Google time I found this site:
http://web.archive.org/collections/web.html
Hmmm, I wonder if any of the glory days of the ISA forum are still around? It would be too much to hope that the "Forces on a speedline" thread were in some pile of files on the Internet. It probably is somewhere but we need a detective to find that thread. Who remembers that thread?
I did find this archive:
http://web.archive.org/web/20010501182225/www.isa-arbor.com/archives/isa/treeclimbers/1998/
As I scrolled down the archive I noticed many names that I recognized. Some screen names are the same. I've had the good fortune to meet many of those people over the year. I sure don't miss "arborist@concentric". I do miss Bob Wulkowicz though.
How many people do you recognize?
