Not second guessing anyone here but I think I would have been more comfortable with a couple of cinch straps and maybe a second guy on the lower part of that leader where the break occurred.

Thanks Gerry. The first was using 3 tie in points. Using two is quite often for really dead or hazardous trees in my urban setting. Put the vid up I,d love to see it.

Edited version from an hour long tape is about 20 minutes.

The span between the tip's is what I will always remember the most.
