What were the different vertical sprint methods?

R = Rope (on Rope) i.e. footlock (on a single line if you want), body thrust (two climbers did this).

R/H = Rope and Hardware (on Rope)

H = Hardware (on Rope)

Time starts when second foot leaves the ground.

Time ends with a bell ring at 12 metres.

We would have had six world records save that none of the female competitors climbed hardware only.

Any one who wants to use the rules in a comp let me know and I'll e-mail them.

Nah; both times were slow - new world record Vertical Sprint!
