2015 Annual CT Rec Climb

Hi Guys and gals it’s that time of year again. Looking forward to the 2015 annual CT tree rec climb.
So far it is a one day event it may be two days. I’ll keep you posted on that. But for now we will be meeting at the Danbury CT Eastern Mountain Sports parking lot near the Danbury mall at 8am Saturday February 7th.. From there once we all meet up ill take you to the location where we will be climbing. Bring your 200ft ropes, There will be plenty of tall trees!
Looking forward to seeing everyone!! Please wear a name tag so we can all get to know each other and not leave anyone behind. I'm horrible with names.

Looks like fun, I am gonna make it down for one someday. Gonna try to put one together in the spring up here in vermint.

Yeah, we had low turnout but excellent folks and trees, we do it every year and it's always great big or small. Missing KYAPLE though, we are still talking about his epic night zip ride last year ;-) Vermint sounds good for a get together!

Good stuff guys. Sad I missed it. Next year... Thanks for taking the time to capture and post the photos. It was nice to see all of the selections on your Flickr page. The close-ups are beautiful. Rope Wrench redirect, the sapling in the snow field, and the lichens...really good eye there, AJ!

Great pics and fun climb Andrew! Let try and measure those twins in the near future. through some date out that work for you. maybe we could climb the sycamore also.

If anyone's up for some more tulip climbing here's a photo of one I took for the CT notable tree project. It's on my parents property and it has a few good sized children as well. I'm 5 10 to put this tulips diameter in scale.
