2008 Ohio Tree Climbing Championship

Well it was a raging good time at the Ohio comp with a lot of hospitality for us judges which was greatly appreciated. We had some bad weather that postponed the masters but the weather subsided and we rocked out. Once again the winner was Chris Bramlage, second place was Jose Fernandez, and Brian Griffith came in third overall after a falling micro pulley DQed him in the masters. Rick the real deal was rocking out KY style all day with set up. Like usually good times were had and can't wait to see everyone at the next comp.

As always, a great event and it was a real pleasure to be a part of the whole thing.

Getting to see everyone again is always a great.

Special thanks go to:

- Mark and Todd for the time and demos on Friday.

- All the techs for the comp, we really appreciate all you do to help make the events run smoothly.

Also, congrats to Chris for winning the whole thing, and hats of to Brian Griffith for making it to the masters in his first ever comp!

John your AR was very smooth as were a lot of them being the head judge at such a comp in that event was an honor and I'd love if you guys will have me back to help out.

Congrats to Chris and all of the competitors. Sorry to have missed such a great event. I heard the Masters tree was a sweet set up !!! Congrats also to all the volunteers, judges, and techs that helped to pull the event off. Way to go Chris (Ahlum) !!!! Hopefully next year I won't have to cancel on you. Sorry bout that.

Thanks for all the hospitallity, I really enjoyed coming out to help. Great job to all who competed, you're all winners for putting forth the effort if front of perfect strangers and peers. I enjoyed meeting new people and revisiting with those that I've met before. One suggestion if I may, move it a little closer to Chicago so I don't have to drive so far, either way I would love to come back next year to help. Again congrats to all.

Thanks Everyone for all the great support and help. Congratulations to all the Climbers who competed, and Chris for winning. Look forward to seeing everyone next year in Cincinnati.
