it's on my to-do list in the next few days to see if tickets are too outrageous on such short notice - if i can get one under $400 you can count me in. would love to be there, competing or not.

Kathy, that would be awesome to have you at the IL competition wether competing or not. I got to see you compete last year in Minnesota and it was a pleasure watching you climb.. You're a great climber. I can't wait to see who else will come out of the woodwork for this one.

are there out of state competitors allowed?

most chapters welcome out of state competitors but they aren't eligble to representat the itcc, and usually can't do the masters even if they get in. i competed in prairie chapter a few years ago and had to join to register, which i think is the case for pnw too - another $50 basically. varies from place to place.

We allow out of state competitors to compete, but they must be an ILAA member, and they are not eligible to compete in the Master's Challenge. Event prizes are given out tho.

You might try sirtreerat to see if he's going. At least i'm pretty sure he's still in Michigan but don't hold me to that one. I think he's gonna be making the venture at least I hope he does.

This fine event is coming up soon so I just thought I'd give it a bump up to the head of the class to see who all is officially going to make the journey.

Also helped w/ the NE TCC in June. Lots of very good climber, but it was a little wet. NO, it was a LOT wet.
Hopefully, IL TCC will be a little drier.
