Yep, great points. Such a well written/knowledgeable post. People underestimate the value of the swivel and the quality/James Bond operating smoothness of the omnis, all of them.

I agree that my keen interest in my vocation is what drives me (I think so anyway) but I'm a little uncomfortable being called inventor or being compared to Kevin. I don't invent, I am resourceful, I am an operator, not very mechanical I use whatever's around me like MacGyver but I don't really...
Tactless question, filled with false premise. Does not deserve an answer but I'm in a mood.
No I am not sponsored by New Tribe. They are a tiny factory.
New Tribe might be able to sponsor a free kitty from the Humane Society, but not me.
I am investing in them. We have a long history together...
Adjustable bridge and different attachment point for legs off the back so that I can hike them up higher. I am a seat saddle guy wearing a leg saddle basically.
Interesting. This is the first small D belt I've ridden. I didn't like how the fixed ds increased my width. Seem to be more likely to hang up on stuff.
Not very floppy tho. I tried a belt one time that had them fixed.
Tried swinging through a fairly tight Y going pretty fast. Those fixed D's, encountered tree trunk on both sides of me and stopped me dead. Kind of embarrassing/painful. Once in a lifetime thing but I didn't like them after that.
Joe really likes those. They are there for people who wear their pads lower and like to keep them in position once they have them where they want them.
I wear my pads all the way up so I don't really need the secondary buckle but it's there.
Different ways to wear this saddle.
