Robert, I think it’s the same trailer as you have... I haven’t ran into that problem with the straps loosening up. You might be able to run a sling through the cylinder at the back of the lower boom down to the trailer to make it more secure.
The OMME is a nice machine for tree work. Some things I’ve learned that you might want to know...
I like to transport the lift with the tracks in a wider position (but not all the way wide); nose into most of ur work (rather than back in); carry mats with u on trailer; use your “turtle”...
Tight DZ today on another Beetle Pine. First time climbing since getting the OMMELIFT over 1 mo ago... it was actually kind of nice to climb for a change.
