    Hey Rich.I agree with the rope angle deduction ,my point is that Strasser should have also seen some deductions for his mistakes as well, and Im sure he did .Just doesnt seem right to me.

    Funny,I did almost the same thing with the same reason,had a shunt and didnt know what to do with it.I started using it on my prussic loop then moved to a system like yours.I tied double fishermans on the ends and kept them on the biner as a back up if the shunt were to fail.I put a twisted...
