Any one have a Webasto heater in their crane

Yes, had them in a few cranes, but sorry I don’t recall ever having to prime one, I think after running the tank dry I may have had to turn it off and on a few times to get it to work, but nothing more than that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Air Filter routine

Chainsaws every morning when they are in for filing. Make sure to blow across the filter not into it, I’ve been told that 15psi is enough to blow holes in the filter allowing dirt to go right into the engine.

    Our 'new' crane

Keep in mind the over the side chart and the over the rear chart on that machine, just because you can pick it over the rear doesn’t mean you can swing over the side with it. Also when you’re picking over the side make sure you’re not looking at the rear chart.

Well I haven't been on treebuzz lately, infact I haven't been in the tree industry lately. After having a hard time working for family for the last few years I finally hit my breaking point and quit back in September. Anyway I joined a the operators union and got on with a crane rental company...

    Swing cab controls

I haven't run a swing cab national but the stand up units (900H) are push away for right. I would believe that maybe when national started building stand up units the main side to stand on placed the swing circle on your left side so pulling the lever towards you brought the swing towards you...
