Yes, had them in a few cranes, but sorry I don’t recall ever having to prime one, I think after running the tank dry I may have had to turn it off and on a few times to get it to work, but nothing more than that.

Make sure to blow across the filter not into it, I’ve been told that 15psi is enough to blow holes in the filter allowing dirt to go right into the engine.
Keep in mind the over the side chart and the over the rear chart on that machine, just because you can pick it over the rear doesn’t mean you can swing over the side with it. Also when you’re picking over the side make sure you’re not looking at the rear chart.
