    ISA Climber's Edge newsletter

I worked with Tim during his many years at Sherrill and he's an awesome guy. I worked closely with him on the catalog where he'd review it and give me a spreadsheet full of notes. He knows his stuff and genuinely cares about safety.

    Goodbye and Thank You, Buzzers!

Thanks! That reminds me: for no reason other than my own entertainment, I hid elephants on the catalog covers in 2016, starting with the 2016 master, and going through all the mini catalogs (and poster) that year. -Sean

    Goodbye and Thank You, Buzzers!

This is bittersweet, but I'd like to announce that I was offered, and accepted, a great career opportunity, and as such, today is my last day with Sherrill Inc. I started at Sherrill in October of 1999 as a graphic designer and quickly developed a love and appreciation for the tree care...

    TreeStuff and SherrillTree Join Forces

I've PM'd CutHighnLetFly to discuss his order's specifics, but to respond generally to this post, obviously these are the types of shipping mistakes we have to avoid. I don't have any explanation as to how these things happen, but it's very clear we need to keep working on tightening our...

    Sherrill's Shitty Website

Good catch. Looks like we lowered pricing on some of the individual items, but failed to revisit the kit pricing. I'll take care of this and let you know what the correct price is. Thanks! -Sean

    Kmiii max sewn eye

Z, Thank you for the post, you've raised some good questions. Obviously I can't speak on Wesspur's behalf, but I can say that not all sewn splices are the same. There are different machines and different stitch patterns. For us, we use our own proprietary stitch patterns, that we write...

Hello MikoDel! Thank you for the post and review of our recent mini catalog. We appreciate your business! I can assure you that Stein, Camp and Notch are not the same company. Notch IS the brand for the products we make and distribute. We went with a separate brand name because our competitors...

    Samson 11.8 rope

We like the Voyager rope, and had Samson make us some in a hi-vis orange colorway. We're not renaming the rope; Tangent is just the name of the color. The blue green version is Voyager Cool, and the hi-vis orange version is Voyager Tangent.

    TreeStuff closing?

This is true, but we're still in Greensboro though. A newer building, with a little more warehouse space. We're still getting settled. It's been quite a process. -Sean

Anyone seen this version of arborwear?

Hey Raven27, The Tech Sweatshirts from Arborwear are new and I don't believe they're even on our website yet. The $195 Arborwear sweatshirt on our site is their Flame Resistant version (http://www.sherrilltree.com/arborwear-fr-dbl-thick-pullover), which is why it has the high price tag. We do...

    Berger telescoping aluminum pole

Hey Guy, From my own personal experience (keeping in mind that I ride a desk, and am not a tree guy), I've used the Hayauchi and the Stealth to take care of some trees at home, and I definitely felt the difference in both the weight and rigidity between the two. And that was only trimming a few...

    Berger telescoping aluminum pole

Hey Guy, We checked for that when coming up with the mod, going through a number of samples until we got it right. We've not noticed any "slop". Thanks! -Sean
