Super cool looking tree. I think second tallest species in the world might be more accurate though as there are a largeish number of coast redwoods that grow taller than that.
totally right. not my favorite spec for deadwooding. I personally don't like removing dead unless it poses a threat to anything below. definitely made me a better climber in the long run though
Knock on the neighbors door before the job and let him know what's going on as a courtesy. Make sure they understand that you have the right to prune the tree regardless of whether they give you their blessing or not. Then prune the tree.
