    I have a stupid question. Why is it undesirable or not yet* popular to connect the akimbo straight onto a rope bridge (like, skip the biner and bridge ring, swivel, pulley etc.) The device is super fast on and off rope...so tell me why you wouldn't do this? Thanks:baba:

    I’m only speculating because I haven’t tried a simulation yet but looks like if you did take a fall with that setup ... you’d be hanging from your fingers pinned to the tree like Jesus ... would you be able to escape?

    @Crimsonking the double fisherman prussic thimble is wicked, I like that. I'm sold on the thimbles and learning how to splice 12 strand lol thanks crimson. What do you do for retrieval if needed: an overhand knot or a retrieval cone thinger?

    Looking for ideas to make my own tree squeeze on the cheap...show me your adjustable, friction saver. I have a pinto, spare rings - just not sure what rope, or cord to use. At this time, I can only splice 3 strand lol I've seen some variations here and there...just curious to see what you use...
