Anything thats 100% polyester is what ive been told is a safe bet. From what ive been able to find out thats what the tm stock bridges are, which from memory is globe 3000. I usually use kernmantle safari/blue tongue.
working on the proper wrapping technique for the duct tape rigging rope. And you have to use the white $2 store painters tape for kernmantle, the easy lift blue stuff wont work with the jacket construction of kernmantle.
Back on topic. I honestly love human, i love how hes opened up about his life experiences etc and shown his journey. That being said, i dont watch his tree work vids anymore, i cant, too many dogy moves. The constant one handing really does my head in, odd choice of cuts etc, lots of safety...
I totally copied it from watching james Kilpatrick climb. I couldnt see exactly how his was made so this is my interpretation from a fuzzy zoomed in video of him ascending.
The top splice that girths onto the hand ascender is done properly, as to say full length burries and what not, life...
Been a while. Done a few more bits, used so not pretty.
New tether for my Kilpatrick set up, new like...micro knee ascender that lives in my pouch on my harness, 60m of tachyon graviton and a new lanyard.
I initially found an old thread with limited discussion and didn't feel like necro posting to a 6 year old thread.

With all of my splices...
Used those plastic tubing bits, put a loop on either leg, convenient for carabiners and stuff, one either side of my chalk bag pouch, I keep a face mask, fig 8, bandaids and lollies in the chalk bag. Love the dmm vaults, one is dedicated for my lanyard, one with a bit of plastic tubing dedicated...
I don't have any slipping, I love the tritech and positioner combo, I did end up cutting the other eye off so I could milk it since it bagged up so badly but I've never had slipping.
I honestly didn't have the money for one so I got a length of 5mm aluminium rod, rounded off the end, filed a notch and drilled a hole. Used a strand out of a bit of beeline for the snair. Works great
Meindl airstreams are the go to standard here, love mine, comfortable from the first day to now. Last pretty decently but don't have some of the whizz bang features of some of the other brands but comfort wise, haven't heard of anything better.
Yeh setting up rigging and hanging a 46 off me for blocking down has me grabbing my tool clips and yanking my harness up allot. I'll have a look, putting in a HB order soon, cheers.
