hi people im kinda nervous about buying this 97 brush bandit. I need to talk to the guy for an explanation for why the gauges are missing. No hour meters no rpms no oil pressure. he said the hours are like 2000. i forget now if he said it was rebuilt. what do you think.. any opinions would...

Re: buying a chipper with 2 radiators. problems
well i am going with the 250xp and am pretty excited. will i have to get a break kit for it with my F350 witha wooden box built on the dump?
Re: buying a chipper with 2 radiators. problems
well i took a look at it and its appeared to be a pretty nice chipper. he did put a governer on it and has it set a little low at 23,000 i think he said. the second radiator came off a drum chipper and the other im not sure. good thought to...
yes the radiators sound jerry rigged but if it stays cool then i dont care..and im glad that we have a confermation on the 300 being the same motor that originally came with it. the guy did say he put the same motor in it..from a ford pickup with 50,000 miles on it.
it is kinda a sketchy buy...
i guess the original bandit radiator cost 1600 and he opted to put a lower grade one with fewer core something or others and when that still overheated he added the second one off a different chipper..so it sounds kinda sane to me. any ways he says its a 200 plus.. has anyone heard of a plus...
Hi ive been looking at buying a chipper and found a brush bandit with a ford 300 6 cylinder gas engine in it. i dont know if its an xp150 or 200. the engine is the second one, the first over heated and was ruined. the new one had overheating problems again so the guy put a second radiator on...
thanks for taking the time to post that very helpful info and link southsoundtree. i will print it and keep it as a ref while i try and help these trees. that is if the customer wants and is willing to finance the long process. i live in northwest pennsylvania. thanks again
i have a person that has an old apple orchard maybe 80 years old. the trees are around 12 inch bhd and 25 feet tall i was told. they yield apples good enough for cider, some years are better than others.
will pruning these trees make the apple yield better. and what is a good method of...
maybe the surface roots are more like 10 or 12 feet around making the tree about 12 feet from the house. i have not seen the claimed damage the tree is doing to the basement. the home owner didn't ask me to look into this. i just put a bid on the tree and left. i will get back to him with...
hey was wondering if anyone wanted to post some opinions or options for a way to keep this 3' diameter silver maple from pushing the basement walls in. Owner wants to remove it and I may, but was wondering if we dig and cut roots back will the tree survive. keep in mind its causing problems...
i use classic safety glasses ..duno the brand but i melt the nose piece with a lighter and squeeze them so that they fit my face better. they stay on my neck when im not using them too. downside is they weaken them.
thanks for the info.. i was wonderin because i wanted to be able to wear safety glasses and use the shield more or less like the screen visor im used to.. probably just best to put the screen visor on it. im gonna check out a dealer near me. hope they have some in stock to look at
thanks for the input fellas.
I may just go with those carolinas i first found . only 80 bucks and seem to be comparable to some of those like the fugitive.. and those ones you posted boston are a too bootlike for what i want ..mainly because a mid size heal and footlocking dont mix well with me...
Recently I have decided that a good sturdy yet lightweight shoe would be nice for prune jobs and rec climbing. I went to the local boot store and found 1 pair of Carolina's that fit that description and also had a steel toe which is nice for me because i really want a shoe that I can use for...
